Privacy / site record
Questions about your information.
This statement takes effect on October 10, 2026. It explains what the live site receives, why it receives it and how to make a request without guessing who is listening.
When does this apply?
This privacy statement takes effect on October 10, 2026. It covers downtelandscaping.com, the inquiry form, support chat, consent choices and visits arriving through paid advertising. The catalogue is inquiry-only. There is no account, password, checkout, payment or card-data collection on this site.
Down to Earth Landscaping Co. reviews this page when its handling changes. The date at the top is the date to use when comparing a copy of this statement.
Who operates this site?
The controller is Downtelandscaping, trading at downtelandscaping.com. The business name used on the site is Down to Earth Landscaping Co.
The postal address is 2719 S Acoma St, Englewood, Colorado 80110, Englewood, Colorado, United States. A privacy question reaches a human at [email protected] or 720-584-4558.
What do you keep?
The inquiry form sends the name, phone, email, project address, kind of enquiry, message, requested specification and consent tick. It also records the IP address, browser user-agent string, referring URL, moment the form is rendered and moment it is sent.
The support chat keeps the conversation and an optional name, phone, email and consent. A token stays in the visitor’s browser so the conversation can be returned to. Technical and access-log data can include the browser request and IP address.
The browser stores the consent choice under site_consent_v2. Advertising links can carry the click identifiers gclid, msclkid and fbclid. Nothing else on this site persists a consent choice. No account, password, payment or card data is collected.
Why is it used?
Inquiry details are used to reply, understand the property and discuss the requested landscape design or construction scope. The address and notes give the conversation a real site to consider. They are not used to take payment or create an account.
Chat details are used to continue the support conversation. Technical data helps deliver the pages, identify abuse and investigate failures. Consent records let the site respect an allow or decline choice. Click identifiers connect an allowed advertising visit with the campaign that sent it.
What is the legal basis?
Consent is the basis for optional advertising and analytics storage. The necessary record of a choice, including a refusal, is used to respect that choice. A visitor can withdraw optional consent through Cookie choices in the footer.
Contract is the basis for using inquiry details to answer a project request, as steps taken at the visitor’s request before a possible contract. Legitimate interest covers delivery, security, basic records and prevention of abuse, balanced against the visitor’s rights.
Declining optional storage does not prevent an inquiry, a phone call or an email.
Which advertising platforms send traffic?
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send paid traffic here today. Google Ads links attach gclid. Microsoft Advertising links attach msclkid. Meta Ads links attach fbclid where a campaign runs there.
Google Ads, microsoft advertising and Meta Ads can use these click identifiers to connect a visit with an advertising campaign. Optional storage controls that measurement. Agreeing that the company may reply to an inquiry does not grant advertising consent. No platform is described as having reviewed, approved or verified this site.
How does consent mode work?
Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied until the visitor allows storage. If the visitor declines or withdraws, all four signals are set back to denied at once.
The banner does not block reading or inquiry. The visitor can choose optional storage, decline it or open Cookie choices later. A decline leaves the contact route, phone number, email address and legal pages available.
Who else sees it?
Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC receives Google Ads signals and the gclid click identifier. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd receives Microsoft Advertising data and the msclkid identifier. Its handling is described in the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd receives Meta Ads data and the fbclid identifier where a campaign runs there.
The hosting provider serves this site and stores the inquiry database. The mail provider carries the notification to the operator’s inbox. Those providers receive the data needed to host the site or deliver an inquiry notification.
Can information cross borders?
Advertising platforms, hosting and mail infrastructure may process information outside the country where a visitor first provides it. Where a transfer occurs, the responsible provider uses a lawful transfer mechanism or another safeguard applicable to that processing.
A visitor can ask [email protected] which route is relevant to a particular request.
How long do you keep it?
Enquiries and their email copies are kept for 36 months. Chat transcripts are kept for 12 months. Server and access logs are kept for 30 days. The record of a consent choice is kept for 12 months.
The browser token used to return to a chat follows the chat system’s operation. No payment or card data is retained because none is collected here.
How is it protected?
Form and chat traffic is sent to the site’s server over the web connection. Access is limited to the operator’s working systems and the providers needed to host, notify or operate the live site. Honeypot fields, request timing and server records help identify automated abuse.
No method makes internet transmission risk-free. The sensible rule is simple: do not send a driver’s licence, account password or payment information in an inquiry.
What rights apply under the GDPR?
For visitors who reach the site from Europe, the gdpr provides access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection rights. A visitor can also withdraw consent. The request may concern information held about that visitor, subject to lawful limits and the need to protect another person’s information.
Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that happened before withdrawal. It sets optional storage back to denied and stops the consent basis for future optional processing.
What US privacy rights apply?
California visitors may use rights under the ccpa and CPRA, including knowing or accessing categories of personal information, correcting inaccurate information, deleting information where the law allows and opting out of sale or sharing. Other US state privacy laws in force may provide similar rights.
This site does not sell information and does not take payment.
Do you honour Global Privacy Control?
Global Privacy Control, including the Sec-GPC header, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. The signal applies to optional advertising and sharing choices. It does not stop a visitor from sending an inquiry they choose to send.
Is this site for children?
This site is for adults planning property work. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly take data from them. If a parent or guardian believes a child’s information was sent, contact the operator so the issue can be examined.
How can I complain?
A visitor may complain to their state Attorney General. In California, a complaint may also be made to the California Privacy Protection Agency. A visitor from Europe may complain to a data protection authority in the place where they live, work or believe an issue occurred.
How do I get it deleted?
Email [email protected] or write to 2719 S Acoma St, Englewood, Colorado 80110, Englewood, Colorado, United States. Say which right you are using and give enough detail to find the record. Down to Earth Landscaping Co. answers a data request within 7 days.
The operator may ask for information needed to distinguish a request from someone else’s. Send no driver’s licence, account password or payment information through this route.
How are changes announced?
When this policy changes, the revised statement is published on this page with a new last-updated date. A material change may also appear in the visible privacy or consent notice. The effective date above is the record to use.
