About / founded in 2012

We bring the build into the design.

Down to Earth Landscaping Co. is a Denver-area landscape design and installation company based in Englewood, Colorado. The work has moved from broad landscape services toward designed outdoor rooms and the construction decisions that make them usable.

A company that works on the property, not just on the plan.

The operator is Downtelandscaping, trading at downtelandscaping.com. The business is Down to Earth Landscaping Co., a landscape design and installation company based at 2719 S Acoma St, Englewood, Colorado 80110, Englewood, Colorado, United States.

Down to Earth Landscaping Co. was founded in 2012. The company grew from different kinds of landscape work into a stronger focus on design and construction, site improvement and outdoor living spaces. That history is not a claim about a team size or a licence. It is the stated story of the business.

The company serves Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Cherry Creek, The Pinery, Castle Pines, Centennial and Lone Tree in and around Denver. A service-area name starts the conversation; it does not reveal the grade, access or buried conditions at an individual property.

Outdoor living has to survive contact with the ground.

The company designs and installs patios, pools, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, landscape planting, irrigation systems, decorative landscape lighting and fire features.

That list is physical work. It includes excavation, base preparation, drainage, stone, concrete, wood, steel, soil, pipe, cable and final fit-out. A patio meets a door and a garden. A pool surround has to move water away from the edge. An outdoor kitchen needs its counter run, cabinet module and utility route to agree with the house and the way the household cooks outside.

A pergola is held by posts and foundations, not by the appearance of a roof in a drawing. Planting needs soil preparation and a grade that does not hide a drainage problem. Irrigation needs zones, sleeves, controls and access to the valve. Lighting needs cable runs, transformer capacity and aiming that shows the path without flattening the garden. A fire feature needs a footprint, fuel route, base, finish, ventilation and site clearances.

The catalogue is inquiry-only. There is no cart, checkout, payment or binding quote. The actual property establishes what can be discussed, including access, measurements, materials and the boundary of the work.

Design-build means asking construction questions early.

We started with landscape work. Over time, the useful work became the meeting point between a clear layout and the difficult parts of installing it. That means asking where materials enter, where water goes, what the finished level meets and which service points must remain reachable.

Those questions prevent a common failure: treating a movement, puddle or awkward threshold as a finish problem after the visible work is complete. Replacing a surface does not correct a poor base. Adding a fixture does not create a route for its cable. Moving a planting bed does not resolve a grade that sends water toward the house.

The drawing and the build therefore stay in the same conversation. The answer is not always known on the first call. The question still belongs there.

We design the outdoor room, then build the parts that hold it up.Down to Earth Landscaping Co.

Start with what cannot be moved.

House thresholds, existing grade, mature planting, access routes and buried services set the terms. A narrow gate changes the installation method. A slope changes the base. A kitchen appliance changes the openings and service access. A pergola post changes the usable space below the frame.

01

Read the ground

Show us the grade and we can talk about drainage. Surface levels affect doors, steps and the water route beside the work.

02

Set the boundary

The inquiry identifies which parts belong together and which conditions still need to be checked. A catalogue description is not a project scope.

03

Keep access practical

Materials and equipment need a way to the work area. Access affects disturbance, sequence and the work that can be discussed honestly.

04

Leave repairs possible

Valves, controls and appliance access remain part of the layout. Hiding a service point is not the same as making it unreachable.

05

Design for use

A chair needs room to move and a path needs to work while the room is occupied. The plan should serve the life outside, not only the empty photograph.

Three-time ALCC award recipient.

The distinction belongs in the company story. It does not replace a conversation about a particular property.

Down to Earth Landscaping Co. is a three-time ALCC award recipient. The statement is specific and limited. It does not establish a review count, star rating, licence status, warranty, guarantee or completion date. None of those facts has been supplied for this site.

The same directness applies to scope. A measured surface is different from a difficult access route. A kitchen counter run is different from the utility work that supports it. A lighting plan is different from the trenching and aiming needed after dusk. Those differences are why the first step is a project conversation rather than a generic number.

If the property has a real outdoor room to solve, send the address, the problem and the space you want to use. A phone number or email gives the company a way to reply.

Put the property in the conversation.

Email [email protected] or call 720-584-4558. The postal address is 2719 S Acoma St, Englewood, Colorado 80110, Englewood, Colorado, United States.

There is no supplied office-hours schedule and no guaranteed response time to publish. A message, form inquiry or phone call is a request for a reply, not a confirmed appointment. Include the project address, the kind of work and what needs solving so the answer can begin with the actual site.

For a project conversation, use the contact form. It asks for a name and consent, plus a phone or email so the company can respond. The catalogue remains inquiry-only. No payment is taken and no binding quote is produced by submitting the form.
